What activity does the offered IntelliBill pilot analyze?
The prepared Mac workflow reads Inbox and agreed Sent Items activity through Legacy Outlook for Mac automation and drafts time entries for human review. Pilot activation is pending a supported mailbox connector and release testing.
How are clients and matters matched?
IntelliBill uses evidence such as participants, subject language, known aliases, and prior reviewed decisions. Confidence accompanies the suggestion, and ambiguous work requires review.
What does local-first mean here?
Outlook for Mac supplies the agreed email activity. Classification, matter matching, the database, and review state run on your Mac with no cloud-language-model fallback. Local services and models are configured during guided setup.
What do I install?
Access is by request. The prepared guided release requires Apple silicon, macOS 26 or newer, and separate local database and model setup. Activation is pending a supported mailbox connector and release testing; we confirm the exact installation requirements before arranging access.
Does the pilot use Microsoft Graph sign-in?
The prepared Mac release uses Legacy Outlook for Mac automation. Microsoft says that client will stop connecting to Exchange Online starting October 2026. A Microsoft Graph version is not available as a verified release. Activation is pending a supported mailbox connector and release testing. Read the dated availability update and Microsoft source.
Does IntelliBill write directly into my billing system?
No. The offered pilot is read-only and downloads reviewed CSV for reconciliation or import preparation after human review.
What should I check before using an export?
Confirm the client, matter, timekeeper, duration, narrative, and any billing codes. Reconcile against time already entered and check the receiving system’s mapping. The CSV guide and fictional sample show the export columns.
Can I explore the product without registering?
Yes. The Interactive Product Tour walks through Microsoft 365 Email and Review & Export with sample in-memory data. It makes no product API calls and does not persist a workspace.
Can I evaluate IntelliBill with my own data?

What does the Founding Firm Pilot cost?
The 30-day pilot is $0 for one attorney and one Microsoft 365 mailbox, with guided setup and one agreed CSV export workflow. The 30 days begin after setup. Applications are subject to fit and a supported Apple silicon Mac. There is no automatic billing; any paid continuation requires a separate written agreement.
Does the pilot include a billing-system integration?
No direct billing-system integration is included. The pilot downloads reviewed CSV, and we confirm any target-system import process separately before representing it as supported.
