The gap
The six-minute email, the late-night reply, the client follow-up buried in a long thread—small pieces of real work are easy to reconstruct poorly or forget entirely. IntelliBill starts with Microsoft 365 email.
How it works
IntelliBill is designed to assist the billing workflow, not conceal it. The evidence and review state travel with the draft.
You approve read-only access to a Microsoft 365 Inbox and Sent Items.
Local inference identifies legal work and drafts a duration and billing narrative.
Evidence and confidence scores connect the activity to a client and matter; uncertainty is surfaced.
Resolve flagged items, run delivery checks, and download reviewed CSV for reconciliation or import preparation.
The product
The current product focuses on the signals attorneys already produce and the controls a careful billing workflow needs.
Surfaces likely billable work from Microsoft 365 activity without requiring a running timer.
Keeps participants, subject, timestamp, and thread context attached to each proposed entry.
Uses participants, subjects, known aliases, and prior decisions to explain each suggestion.
Generates a proposed narrative and time estimate while preserving the underlying review signals.
Checks duplicates, unresolved clients, overlaps, and unusual estimates before an export is prepared.
Reviewed decisions can become examples for future classification instead of disappearing into a spreadsheet.
Privacy without theater
Microsoft Graph supplies the email you authorize. Classification, matter matching, the customer database, and review state run on your Mac; the app has no cloud-language-model fallback.
IntelliBill is built by a practicing attorney who wanted reviewable evidence and operational clarity, not a black-box promise.
